From idea to published app — the whole route, not just the code.
We took our own app through the App Store from the first line of code to an approved release. That is what you are buying: not just an app that works, but an app that gets through.
Where projects actually die
Most app projects that fail do not fail because the code would not compile. They fail in the last twenty percent: Apple rejects the app over a privacy wording, in-app purchases do not work in the sandbox, the age rating is wrong, or nobody thought about how users delete their account — which Apple requires.
We have been through that whole run with NordicLens. We know where Apple tends to stop you, and we build for it from day one instead of discovering it three days before launch.
What we handle
- iOS apps in SwiftUI, built for the screen sizes people actually carry
- AI features — image recognition, text understanding, model API integration
- In-app purchases and subscriptions via RevenueCat, including restore and trials
- Privacy and consent under GDPR and Apple's privacy nutrition label requirements
- App Store submission — screenshots, description, keywords, age rating, review responses
- Support and privacy pages on stable URLs, as Apple requires
- Post-launch maintenance as iOS versions and guidelines change
Pricing
App projects vary too much for a price list to be meaningful. For orientation: a focused iOS app with one clear purpose, no login and no server typically starts around NOK 90,000. With user accounts, subscriptions and a backend it goes higher.
You get a fixed price per phase, not a rolling hourly estimate. Unsure whether the idea holds? We are happy to do a short feasibility phase first.
Questions
Who is the App Store publisher?
You are, on your own Apple Developer account. We help you set it up if you do not have one. The app should be yours, not ours.
What if Apple rejects it?
It happens, even to experienced developers. Responding to review feedback and making the necessary changes until it is approved is included in the price.
Can you do Android too?
In the Norwegian market we usually recommend starting with iOS and adding Android once the app has proven it gets used. We take Android work, but iOS is where our depth is.
